Update DVD Navigation
I ordered the 2015 navigation DVD from Ebay, $8.95. The original 2004 edition was in my new to me 2005 SC. Marketed as 2016, I have heard this is the last update for these old Gen 4 systems. It was super easy, eject and insert. Yes I know how to navigate with my phone. I like my map on the screen.

Using in-dash Navigation is fine, except:
1. Out dated information
2. Ugly resolution
3. No live traffic. You could go right into the accident site.
4. Not user friendly.
5. No police warning or red light cam warning
One good thing about the in-dash Navigation, you don’t need internet. It’s extremely useful when you’re in area where is no cel or weak signal. That why I still keep mine, just in case.

I did the same.
Works fine for being 6 years old. The resolution doesn't phase me.
I'm prolly going to add a GTA Car Kit Bluetooth adapter.

Would this be the latest update for my 2007 SC?

It is quite confusing due to the variety of discs available for Lexus vehicles! Thank you for your help.

Disc version
The original that came with my 2005 is W41.
The replacement I installed from Ebay is U30.
I can't authoritatively say it will work in a 2002, but seems like it would.

Thanks DaveGS4
Looks like this is the last one for 2002 models. Released in 2013, but if you still have the original it's an improvement.

Dave & Dan,
"Thank you" both for the assist with the specific additional information. I was backing off after not seeing my '02 listed in the DVD list, but this looks to be an improvement from the OEM DVD I own.

DanHo, it’s against CL policy to post the link for pirate software.

Do we know what year Gen 2/3 U07 was released? I haven't confirmed that it was the original OEM from 2002-04, but from a thread elsewhere it appears so.
And has anyone tried the Gen 4 U30 in a Gen 2/3 system? (model years 2002-2004).
I'll point out the DVD is color-coded with blue dots on it for Gen 2/3 ... Red/orange for Gen 4 (model years 2005-2009)
thanks
