More than double the stock HP
Saw this while looking for a back seat mod. Probably old news around here but thought I'd post it for those that weren't aware of all the possibilities.

Impressive power to be sure. 40psi, however, is quite a high level of boost w/o upgrading the engine internals to handle it.

Car is dangerous with that much more power without serious upgrades to the suspension first

Agree here. Flooring the standard 3UZ-FE results in a lot of squat/lift that makes a less than optimum control situation.

Having some 2x the horsepower would be very concerning without significant suspension modifications.

That car has a 2JZ-GTE (Supra engine)... 40psi is probably not a problem, those engines handle something like 900hp on the stock internals with proper support.

Wow, I had no idea someone offered a swap like that... That would be AMAZING, but honestly I feel like you would lose the original intention of the car, which was a smooth luxury cruiser. I've seen Supercharger kits (which cost almost as much unfortunately) that produce good results with the 3uz. it won't be as fast, but it would definitely keep the character of the car if that matters.

If you just want a fancier, drop top supra, then this swap is the coolest thing ever. lol Thanks for posting!
