Default Tires?

Need suggestions on tires for sc430 2002. My tire was low on air and I drove not knowing so I ruined the tire. Also, should I replace two tires or is it okay to replace just one.

Always replace in pairs on the same axle.

I guess I should have qualified that statement. If the tire that was ruined was close to new I might replace just the one. Past that, I would do two.

I have to say the most commonly recommended tires for the SC are Michelin's. They make a good tire.

But I got to tell you I *LOVE* my Yokohama ADVAN APEX Tires! They are awesome! Smooth as butter, soft as cotton and heavy duty as caterpillar. I would definitely by them again.

But in all fairness, I did win them from Club Lexus & Yokohama for writing this essay.

STILL, I WOULD DEFINITELY RECOMMEND THEM

I have the Pirelli P7's II in a 245/45/18 on both my 06 SC and my son's 05 SC. I am on my second set of P7's in a 19 inch on my 2010 LS 460L. I have found these to be a great tire in every aspect and would highly recommend. The 245/45/18's over the OEM 245/40/18's will make your MPH dead on.

DD,
Wow ! What’s the essay. I had my experience on the winding coastline of California but I can’t express it well in English as I wish. Thanks.

Toyo proxes T1 sport, they are NOT super low profile so great in the hills. Ok on the highway. Good in the wet.

Thank you everyone for the tire suggestions. My husband ordered two Yokohama Advance Apex tires.

I've often thought of the SC430 as a vehicle designed/marketed toward women, more than men. It ranks "relatively sedate" on the "macho" scale, especially considering some of the interior color combos. Not that I'm concerned with these things myself. Being an old married dude, I've no need to project any sort of tough-guy image. If I did, I would be driving a Vette or a Stang.
