GroupBuy time, what are SC 430 owners interested in?
Okay folks, it is GB time in time for the holidays!!! I am collecting data on what SC 430 owners are interested in. We are working with our main man Steve Ganz (Supratrd) of Carson Toyota to set something up in time for the holidays.
Steve has some items he already has some mind for the GB and even if 1,000 people post they want something does not guarantee it will happen. We will try our absolute best to make it happen.
Please post and take advantage of voiceing what YOU want. Thanks.

How about the star caps?
Funny thing is you can get those chromed (of reportedly excellent quality) for $40 a piece, and dealer wants over $400 for the set of silvers (almost the price of a chrome exchange -$480). One astute person reported they look identical, down to the 'made in taiwan' location of the origin, but figured Lexus (toyota, really) had an exclusive on the 'silver' ones, and the company found a way around that with the chromed ones. Maybe Steve can comment on the disparity of prices. The guys selling the chromed ones (more expensive to make than silvers) at $40 are still making money.
Only reason I'm considering this option is the hassle of a chrome exchange. I definitely want a different look for my car than the ugly pie plates.
Good day gentlemen.

My wish list:
1. Non-chrome star caps.
2. Adapter kit that provides access to built-in cell phone wiring and mic, without having to use the Lexus phone.
3. One-press roof operation
4. Remote roof operation

Dsimo, a group buy is a discounted price for an item based on volume buying.
To clarify, I meant the non-chrome star caps; 2 requests so far. By the way, I concur with Fletch's 'wish list', in that order. I also don't understand why we didn't get the 'blue tooth' wireless adapter on '04 (like on LS, LX, etc), star caps, or the 6-sp tranny. We only got a price increase for nothing . I didn't even get the door rattle fixed by the factory, but my dealer did a superb job (went well beyond the TSB); I'm a happy camper now. Can't wait for the 1K-mile mark to have a little more fun with my car. Just passed 400 miles. Fantastic car.
What's up 1sicklex? You didn't expect turbo and exhaust requests, did you??
Take care all.

Thanks for the response!
My wish list...an L-tuned sport package including suspension mods, a wheel option with staggered front and rears, and most importantly...a supercharger! I'm tired of getting lip from my friends with XJRs and XKRs!
