Default Vsc

Also, after mechanic visit the VSC and VSC Off are lit up on the dash. Mechanic says they cannot figure out how to turn them off. Is this a safety issue, or just ignore?

Thanks

Try pushing the button on and off? Maybe the button just got bumped while work was being done.

I know Daryl provided the answer…here is the same answer with more details.
anytime a code reader is connected to the ObdII, you will get the VSC lights

The last two times my girl was in the DEALER, she came out with the VSC light on. I have made the plug and it takes seconds to clear but "the dealer"? I love the simplicity of my scanner. But I have got to get Techstream. Our cars are OLD and actually kind of rare. Finding someone today you can trust to know your vehicle is getting more difficult every day. ☹

I had the exact same issue after plugging in an obd scanner just to see if the car had any codes. I just bought a $5 obd plug from sc430 mods and it fixed it.

I’m glad that my 07 SC does not have this problem.
