Thumbs up Want to Fix Leather Stains? Quick Fix

Hey Guys - the interior of my 02 was close to flawless (for being 20 years old) except for one "wear" spot on the armrest...see first picture. I was on Facebook asking around for suggestions and someone suggested SEM Color Coat (15003) Phantom White. Its a spray can that I had my doubts about. But I got so tired of looking at that spot, I had to try something (and replacing it was $180 off eBay). All I can say is WOW - the leather looks brand new, totally smooth and color matches my Ecru interior perfectly. Look at the results...I did my armrest and a few sections of the driver seat...

Looks good. I did mine a while ago and was happy with it for 10 years, but need to redo again.

Looks great. My interior is not as good as yours, but I might give this a try.

Not sure why you were quoted $180 for a new one off EBay, but I bought a brand new one off EBay for $18.

$18 that's for a patch of leather to remove the old piece of leather then recover - not interested in ripping apart my arm rest. The $180 is for the actual entire arm rest assembly - to unscrew the old and replace (fully) with the new.

Generally, when the covers are really bad, "L Seat" is the place to go to.
But for items like the one here, paint is the way to go. I haven't gone this route because the threads get painted too. But one of the last items on my list is to get the arm rest corrected. This might work if the threads can be taped off somehow?
Anyone know the paint code for the "saddle tan" color?

That's what I said...you got the COVER that replaces the old cover but you have to glue and staple it...no thanks. $180 bought me the entire armrest...not sure how else to explain it...

according Sewell Lexus, you have interior Saddle code LA21.
Also, I know the paint code is on the door tag, the interior there too…

Yea. Happy 4th by the way.😁 I was just being lazy and wondering if that particular supplier used the same codes? I'll eventually go look at the website. Any idea as to how to protect my off white threads from being turned permanently tan?
