Talking Not bad for 14 years old!

Just got my Lexus SC430 back from paint shop. Was already in great shape but a lot of paint chips and marks in the front bumper. Very happy with results.

Looks beautiful. To really protect that new paint - you should ceramic coat it. Makes it look wet and protect the paint better than wax ever did.

Very nice. Obviously I love that Tigar Eye Mica color.

Do you have any suggestions as to what brand? How much? I looked into wrapping the front bumper and for just the bumper it was $1,300 after which you can't use an automated car wash. That's about what it cost to replace the whole bumper and paint it so makes no sense to me.

My 02 was repainted about three years ago now. I had midnight pine pearl glass. She was perfect. I did the ceramic coating which unfortunately broke down on the top surfaces within the first year. I live in SoCal and she's my daily driver. The moral of this story is I had the chance to wrap the front bumper but didn't. I wish I had. My girl is a road warrior and she gets treated well. No regrets really. But I have some hellacious rocks chips now. MAYBE (in other words, I dont know) hardening the paint could have contributed to it. Or it COULD just be very hard brittle paint.

FYI current work was to replace and paint front bumper. For the rest of the car they only needed to touch up or buff out any marks, nicks, and scratches including the headlight lenses. So new paint for just the front bumper. Paint was done by a local shop here in my home town of Annapolis, MD. Cost of all current work was just shy of $1,500.

Looks great TheHulk9er. I had PPF added to my hood and front end. It still looked great after 10 years and prevented further rock chips.

for some reason i think the pre 06 headlights look better than the post 06 ones. I think the post 06 ones look a bit bulbous.

Love the post 06 taillights though, thats a no brainer.
