Love the ML system, but CDs and cassettes don’t cut it for me - I’m too spoiled with Apple CarPlay in my daily driver. What is a decent yet affordable way to stream music using iPhone? I already tried a Bluetooth adaptor but it was crackly with low sound output. Thank you.

I purchased the GTA kit - the wired version because I don’t like to have to adjust volume on the iPhone for Bluetooth (I know I can put it in the mid range on iPhone volume, and from there adjust on the steering wheel, but not my preference). For those of you who chose this option, where did you install the USB port? The YouTube video mentions putting it in the armrest console, but that isn’t my preference.
