Default AC issues

My AC runs warm upon start up (not all the time) and after I shut the car off and restart the AC blows cold as ice. I had the ac tested and no leeks either. Any ideas? Its also 103 here is Houston Texas nd maybe that plays a part.

Hmm didn't think of that, it could be dirty and sticking.

At 103, your entire system is being taxed. It "could" be the compressor clutch failing. But it being intermittent will need some more checks. I would hate to just start throwing parts at it. Check YouTube. They almost always have something relevant. Do the A/C test routine. How to do that check has recently been discussed and should be searchable. Keep us informed. The moderators read everything and pipe in with valuable info when they get a moment. Thank you everyone.😁

I have noticed that if the car is warmed up on days I dont plan of using it the problem goes away. Its only when it sits idle for a a few days ...its as if something is sticking.

There are two valves in the system that could be sticking: the compressor control valve, and the expansion valve.

If it is the expansion valve, you will most likely have to get behind the dash. The compressor valve would be easier to fix (in my opinion)

^^ +1 From my experience, not running the AC on a regular basis will cause the expansion valve to get sticky.

I make sure I run my AC at least for a few minutes a couple times a week now whether needed or not and it has been improving.
If it's not too far gone it can come back sometimes as I was running 50 degree vent temps and my temps have been running 40 degrees lately.

Eventually I will drop the blower assembly(RX330) and replace mine since it won't last forever and probably drop in an new condenser while I'm at it.

I took the car to a mechanic after work and he found a small leak which got fixed add a new value too. The AC now runs super cold and it still went warm after siting idle. The mechanic put the car on the computer and it blew 2 codes( he didn't tell me what they were). He thinks it may be the car computer telling the ac not to switch on. He went on to say the condenser is new and was replaced at some time. He thinks it may be a wiring issue. I'm dropping the car off again on Friday so he can check out the wiring.
