Hi Guys
I just purchased an 07 SC430 about a week ago. Purchased it in Florida and drove it back to Kansas. EVerything went well expet the climate control unit temperatue button on the driver's side would only increase temp it would not lower it, The passenger side worked fine. So I pulled the climate control when I gtr home and damaged it in removing it. So I ordered another one off ebay, Looks like the same unit but the part numbers are different. My original part# 55900-24330 the ebay part# 55900-24260. I install the ebay model and now everything seems to be working on the climate control. Both driver and passenger temp buttons seem to be working, but when I turn the ac on only hot air blows out. The car sat for few days before the replacement part arrived and I didn't do anything else. Now I'm wondering if the ebay control unit is compatible with my car. DTC code displayed is 23 the compressor spins but the clutch does not seem to be engaging. Any suggetions would be apprieciated.

You could send the bad unit back to EBay and send the original unit to Tanin for repair.https://www.taninautoelectronix.com/...ontrol-repair/

Take a look at this post:

and go to comment #36. In reading down into the post:
AND If anyone here finds (or sees) another '06-'10 AC-ECU for sale (Toyota/Denso part # 55900-24330), please let me know. I want to keep a spare one of those, --and while the '05 unit worked my roof and almost everything else,--- it didn't appear to operate my AC compressor-clutch properly for some reason. After more research, I discovered there appears to be a slight pin-out change between the '02-'05 AC-ECUs (Toyota/Denso part # 55900-24260), and the ones in the 06-10 models.

I'm glad to hear that you now have cool air. You said you were able to get it to work. In case anyone else has a similar issue, please let us know what you did to get it to work.

So I had my partially fuctioning climate control unit and the newly aquired unit from Ebay that would not engage the ac clutch. I took apart both units and merged them together to create one completely functional unit, at least that was my hope. So I kept the rear part of my original unit and connected it with the front screen and button part of the ebay unit. I removed 6 screws and 2 ribbons from the ebay unit so that I could get the screen and buttons and reconnected it to my original existing rear section plugged it in and cold air with working temp buttons
