Default 2 Questions if you replaced the Radiator... I need to do it

I was hoping not to have to do the job, and after searching and finding pertinent info, I have two questions....
1) since I have a "sealed" 2006 6 speed transmission system, what is the best way to minimize loss of the transmission fluid when pulling the radiator , did you save the fluid and refill the bottom of the tank with transmission fluid when the new radiator was mounted (I can do that w a monster syringe)
2) Is the Denso (towing package radiator (which is thicker than the stock radiator) the way to go or just get the stock thickness radiator......IF you did get the thicker radiator, were there any installation issues
3) added a third question....if you replaced the two hoses, and used the OLD clamps, was there an issue w the non-OEM Toyota hoses, I will go w s Gates hose replacements

Thanks all for your response

The bottom of the 2006 SC430 or LS430 radiator has Transmission fluid running through it to cool it... in a separate compartment , So, when you remove the radiator it also is connected to the tranny, in a separate compartment, but attached to the radiator

Hmmmm, I will talk to my trusted mechanic tomorrow to see what his thought on this issue. He replaced my radiator last year.

Thanks all, I got my answers from messages.
I will order the standard Denso radiator
will lift both inlet and outlet hoses when I disconnect them , so no major leaks
will seal the radiator lower compartment Trans fluid w the caps from the NEW raditor
will order Gates upper and lower hoses for the radiator
I ordered all on Rockauto along w 1 qt of World Transmission fluid in case I need to add more to the radiator lower compartment.
Thanks Gents
