i know there are fans of the neiman marcus so thought i'd share this listing of one for sale locally...

i've never considered myself a fan, too flashy for me, but i have to admit that after checking it out in person it was very nice! the advertised price of $29.9K is a drop from the original asking price of around $33k.

anyway, just sharing for those who might be interested.

it came with a specific car cover with the Neiman Marcus logo on it when the car was issued you couldn’t buy it at full price people were paying premiums to get it. I imagine it was in the $80-$90,000 range they were only 100 of them made and it was listed in Neiman Marcus is Christmas catalog who it was the first sc430 convertible offered . The interior red color was called candy cane red, and the paint was silver cloud. The threshold plates were illuminated with the neon blue color, exposing the Lexus logo.

My Wife loves red, so I guess she would be in favor of the Marcus Neiman rather than her black leather interior.

It had those horrid 2002 wheels, however. I'm glad the previous owner of my 2002 replaced them with aftermarket ones that are actually nice looking. Oh well, Neiman Marcus was kind of a big deal in the '80s but not so much now.

Looks overpriced to me. Kbb private very good is 20k. I don’t think red seats are worth an extra 9k. These dealers never cease to amaze me with their asking prices. Maybe 21k would be a decent deal.
