First 1,600 km check-up
I will be taking in my new SC430 for my first 1,600 km check-up this week.
Anything you guys recommend I should be looking out for. Should I be asking them to check something special?
Your advice would be helpful.
Cheers, Nick

Hi there. Check up consists of wheel lugnut torque and fluid levels, followed by a road test. You can address any noises, rattles, or anything that you think is abnormal.
I'll do an oil change at this time (remember you have a 'free' one at 5K miles, but can use it at any time), with fully-synthetic Mobil1. I'll do it myself, since I'm going to attach an extension hose to the A/C drain hose, because it now dumps all water right on the undertray, and there're mineral water spots all over the place. Will check and detail all that area as well. A pair of rhino ramps is all you need. You can spot the drain hose I'm referring to with a flashlight, between the battery and engine, very close to the firewall.
Take care.

Check-up
Some of the things I had dealer double check on my first check...29,000 miles ago.
Alignment (any unusual tire wear)...of, course, the rattles....any questions from the owners manual (assuming you read EVERY page)...if you didn't check for your tools under the floor pad in the truck when you picked the car up...do it now......Most important....and I'm glad I did...ask the service mechanic if he would mind you watching..this established a great repore with my mechanic from that day forward...he was really accomodating...we talked "shop" while he was working on my car.....and
was thrilled that someone took an interest in his work....sure paid dividends in subsequent service checks..plus, I got a good education.....

Service
Also, there is a NAV update avalible. All it adds in the new version is a boat-load more of Points-Of-Interests, up to 5 Million I hear.
I'd see if they will update it for you for free due to the age on the car being new.
Regards,
Deanski
