any sensor you buy will always have to be programed even if you buy it from lexus. Thats just the way it works.
However you do not HAVE to go to the dealer. Discount Tire and Firestone are two places off the top of my head that will do it free if your already doing stuff there (for instance I did lifetime allignment and Firestone programed a sensor free) and if your not doing anything else there im sure the charge would be minimal compared to the dealer since the process takes like 5 min tops.
