Never buy the first year of anything. Yes the supra should be awesome but keep in mind it shares the inline 6 that is in the m2 and m3/4. The question is, will the supra be a single turbo twin scroll or twin turbo setup, an N55 or a S55, closed deck block, forged internals, etc etc etc??? I had to actually order my 18 M2 due to the supply and demand. My plans after breaking it in are Pure Stage II Turbo Upgrade and yes it has the same forged pistons and connecting rods along with closed deck block as the M3/4...
Getting back to the dp for the 200T , I want to purchase this for my wife's car but don't want to be the guinea pig.. I was told they are made to order..

personally id hope they stay true and give it a twin turbo like the 2jz. I'm sure Toyota won't release something bad expecially under the Supra name. I would jump on the new Supra 1st year that would be an honor! Also I have the Ppe catted downpipe and have had no issues! I just uploaded a rev video in the is200t tune thread check it out
This is the new catted down-pipe from TTI that is made for both power and emissions. The high flow cat is located before the 2nd O2 sensor which is similar to the OEM design, and this will also not give a CEL.
@cosmo1
There are a few members on the forum with down pipes. You can't go wrong with either TTI (SPOWER) or PPE.

No Issues meaning no engine light or do you have the TTI tune that fixes that? My wife's car is brand new and I don't want to do anything to ruin the warranty. On another note I'm also in the process of purchasing some goodies for my new M2 that should be here Monday!!

Once the de-catted down-pipe uses a spacer of some sort on the 2nd O2 sensor then you will avoid having a CEL. PPE uses a spacer and TTI uses an internal tubing to divert exhaust fumes from making contact with the sensor. If you get a catted down pipe from either company then you will be fine.
Got my PPE decatted down pipe installed, and not bad for a DIY! Took about 3 hours by myself, but I guess it was easier since it was already changed out before.
