Default 2018 ridgeline

bought a 2018 Ridgeline RTL-T yesterday.really love it.I drove the tacoma and the gmc canyon and the outdated frontier.
the honda was the best seat for my back and doesnt feel like a truck, feels smaller then it is.

Good stuff. It's a nice truck. Glad you found a truck that had a good seat. I still find it astonishing that the Tacoma has a no height adjustment for its driver seat. Amazing because some of the 80s trucks had 12 way manual seats which included side bolsters, lumbar, four head rests.

Your Ridgeline is a very sensible vehicle.

A recommended a older Ridgeline to a friend. He loves it. Says he wants to get a newer one in a couple years but did not seem as impressed with the newer one.

Congrats on the new Honda.

I've kind of wondered why these haven't sold very well, they can't crank out Tacomas and Colorados/Caynons fast enough, even the old as dirt Frontier sells pretty well. Styling? Pricing? Poor marketing from Honda? People actually wanting a real truck?

Not sure what Honda's expectations are, but they are selling about 3k per month and nearly 27k thru September. That doesn't seem too bad for the Ridgeline.

I would estimate they'd sell more with better styling. Most in the pick-up market are after a masculine, truckish look. The Ridgeline appears soft and feminine. Overall though, I think it's a smart buy. It's built well, reliable, spacious, economical, and has solid resale. I'd have it on my list.

thanks Aron9000,i think most truck buyers want a truck feel in the ride and the big size to them. The newer ridgeline rides like a suv or like a car in some respects. The ride is very smooth and quiet. The 10 way power drivers seat is as good as you can get in a pickup, also has a 4 way power seat for the passenger.

You can get a power seat. You just can't make it go up or down. It's just forward or rearward.

Congrats. One of my favorite designed trucks. I like the storage within the truck bed and the pass through they have behind the second set of seats. St least they used to be like that.
