Default Michelin Latitude X-Ice Xi2

Very happy with tires so far. Noticeably quieter than the LTX M/S2 I pulled off for the winter. Cuts though slush without any drama and what would have caused some minor hydroplaning with the M/S2 they again go right through it. Seems to be a noticeably smoother ride as well. I wasn't sure what to expect after using Blizzaks but so far happy with the X-Ice Xi2. I would have tried the Xi3 but they weren't available in my stock size.

caesosa: Thanks for recommendation!!

Awesome! The tires look really nice too.
I don’t have a need for winter tires as most M/S or AT tires would do well for the amount of snow I see a year, but it’s good to to know.

I like the new rims on the GX. Looks cool!

Thanks! I'm liking them too. Late 2015 date code on rim makes me think they are from a '16 Premium

Move down South, no need for snow tires - unless you're all Yankee'd up, then stay where ya are! (jk)

I bet you'd have difficulty driving in snow with -30F temperture, LOL! They say we have thicker blood up here in white North....

Hey there, I will be making the drive from Houston, Tx to Angelfire,No next week and was thinking of getting snow tires just in case it snows while we’re there. These x-ice xi2 should do the job right? We will be staying at the main resort so we won’t do much driving other then maybe going to Taos or around the town. Any feedback would be appreciated. Thanks!!
