Got a little booboo af work. I was surprised to see how big the dent was when it was a little tap.
I used a cheap Harbor Freight heat gun and pushed it out. Then some touchup paint and some clear coat.
The wife said it looks really so I took that as a a good job LOL.

After the touchup
Before and after heat gun

You know a green cap indicates a nitrogen filled tire? I put less discrete green caps on my GX and always tell shops "please do not add air".

I know... pic was literally taken after I rolled the tires out of their service bay into my trailer. Costco only does nitrogen fill IIRC and always puts the green caps on. Not a bad quality cap though as it does have a nice rubber gasket up in there. I left off the stock caps before taking tires in since I didn't want to risk tech losing them. I plan to put the stock ones back on.

Thanks. I was surprised how easy it was to push it out with very little force after a few seconds with the heat gun. I'm still perplex to see how that section was pushed since it wasn't at a corner.

But I'm glad that it's 95% good now.

I've got those Blizzaks on another vehicle. They work great!! I'm trying out some Michelin X-Ice Xi2 on my GX this winter.

Tested my braking system the other day. Not paying attention I got off 1 exit too soon, running 62mph when I came over a hill to stopped traffic. Thought I was getting on 19/400 but it was a side street exit. I live up 400 so stupid mistake. All the noise is my work equipment flying forward from the rear. The braking feature really seems to work in the GX, I just feel like I have no brake pressure control when it kicks in. Braking goes from “OK I got this” to the GX going into full panic mode. I guess better safe than sorry.

You hear my phone ring right when this happened (piano riff). I did answer it and it was a Real estate agent solicitation. Don’t think I’ll ever be hearing from him again

Threw on the Michelin X-Ice XI2s and associated the TPMS sensors on the winter rims. Worked exactly as it should with TS and sensors showed up right away in data list. Best to keep notepad open on computer and copy and paste the codes in.

Pretty cool that you can transfer a winter/summer set without needing programming help from a shop

I hear.... I was a little doubtful it would work first time but no issues at all. You have 5 minutes to enter the codes. If this elapses you just start over.

EDIT: I've seen this tool mentioned as well for home TPMS programming.

Amazon Amazon

GX is at 107k and has no history of having the spark plugs done, so I ordered a set today.

Let us know how that goes. Curious how easy the coil packs release.

Thanks!

Of course... I just hope there isn't signs of oil intrusion from failing seals. All the coils I've ever done have just popped right out with only a minimal amount of force.

Need to find the torque value for the plugs...

I'm see the following specs in FSM:

DENSO SK20HR11
Max Gap 1.3 mm (0.0512 in)
Gape on new spark plug 1.0 to 1.1 mm (0.0394-0.0433)

Here are torque specs for spark plugs and coil packs:

Nm / kgf-cm / ft-lb
