Strongly disagree with the idea that ISFs are cheap. I spent well over a year looking for a 2011 (or newer) ISF with decent mileage for under $36k. I know that's not exactly LFA money, but it's certainly not chump change for a car that's 7 model years old now. The ones that popped up on dealership lots for less than $40k with under 60k miles always sold very quickly.
Ended up negotiating with a private party seller for under $34k, but man, there's no way I'd call these things cheap (or easy to find).
I just picked one up an 08. I wouldn't say they are cheap. I think in the long run it will be the better value. I like jap cars so the German cars weren't even on the table for discussion. I'm not sure how long I'm going to keep it but I'm having a blast.

You can find 08-09 models with just under 100k for $19-21k. That's not bad at all for 400+HP, decent mid 20's MPG, reliability second to none, and a depreciation that is near it's bottom. For anyone considering a brand new pony car or SS, you can get a CPO warranty ISF for cheaper that's just as quick but way better in and out. For anyone wanting a german saloon feel like M/AMG/RS5, I think it can be considered a bargain.
$20k? How many miles do these bargain IS-F's have?
I miss my 2011 F...but I paid $52k for it (with 16k miles). Granted it was mint and this was 3 years ago, but damn I miss that car. Probably the single best all around car I've ever owned.

Because I had 3 sports/race cars at the time. The F, my FRS, and my BMW...I wanted a nicer car for my wife so traded the F in at Christmas and surprised her w/ a new NX200t....which more recently was traded for an RX350.

i just bought a 2012 for $35k but only 61k miles on it, 08-10 can be found for about $20k-$30k
they are coming down in price now since there's more lexus F models out there

Um, I don't think that's the reason they are coming down in price lol. There has ALWAYS been an F model available since 2008....never a down year.
They are coming down in price because clearly they are aging (although well I must say) and the mileages are going up on each car along with the condition coming down in a lot as well. PLUS, look at all the competition the car has now.... getting 550-650 hp doesn't cost much money now....back in 2008 when the F was introduced, 600hp wasn't under $100k new.
But the F in a newer model with more up to date features ('12-'14), in good condition and low mileage are STILL raking in pretty pennies (if you can find them).
