the Radio and Navi and Navi door works fine. Just radio door doesn’t work as if there is no power to it.

i think there are only two fuses but you should confirm they are good by using a multimeter.
either pull the fuse and ohm it out or touch both sides of the top of the fuse and check for 12-14vdc.

you already confirmed the radio Door is operational because you moved it to another SC430

I check both radio fuse, one in engine area and one in side in the Passenger area. if the Radio is working fine, the fuse is fine. is it possible the radio door on a different circuit/door. when i took the whole radio out. the radio door power cable is in a different bundle of wire than the main radio wire.

You had mentioned it worked intermittently. Could it be when you checked it in your friend's car, it worked, but won't work again?

It would seem, that if had worked on and off, it probably isn't a fuse. I would guess it is the switch.

Do you have a electronic meter? Or a circuit tester?

You can easily plug one of those into the plug and see if you get power all the time.

If you don't, you can probably get one at harbor freight for less than $5.

Knowing if you have constant power would be key to solving your problem

here is the wiring diagram. Both fuses appear to feed the door but I think the Dome fuse may provide power to the radio door.
Question, are the interior dome lights operational?

yes, the interior doom light is working. I will get a voltage tester to test the connector this week.

It happens after I took the car to Deal for Air Bag recall six months ago... I don't have good confident with Sacramento Lexus dealer. It also broke the radio antenna while they fix the air bag recall. The car has less than 7000 miles, it shouldn't have this kind of issue.

Q: The door cover on the radio / CD is stuck in the open position. It was operating perfectly until I had to take the car to the Lexus dealer for the air bag recall. I noticed that the door lid did not close while driving home from the dealer. on 2005 Lexus SC430

in text, when you put things in all caps, or all bold text, that is considered yelling.

So did you ever get it fixed?

Was there power at the plug, near the ash tray?

It’s probably simplier than you think. Check the cable to the switch (behind the ashtray). It might came loose.
I disconnected mine so the door stays permanently open.

I finally find some time to test the power source for the Radio door Switch. here is the result. when I test with circuit tester, The main power cable (#1) has power, the light is on on the circuit tester. but #2 and #3 connectors don't have power or the circuit tester light is not on. however, when I test on the #2 connector black cable, the radio door move a little, like adjust itself.

main power cable has power, but not on the two small connectors.

I want to help but you are not very descriptive...what color wires have power?Look at post 51,wiring diagram, to figure it out or provide more information.
