Joe Z intake tube on the side
This might sound like a silly question, but that extra hose connection on the side of the intake where the small hose comes and connects to, where does this come from? If this is loose or not tightened can it cause a vacuum leak?

Thanks, the stock pipe in that connection area has a slight hump and dip so that when hose goes in and when you tighten the clip it is 100% sealed. The Joe Z one seems like a straight pipe. So no matter how much you tighten it will it actually fully seal?
Sorry, might be a silly question but what exactly is the purpose of it being connected to the valve cover?

Thanks for the link. It talks about the PCV to vent the crankcase. But isn't the PCV valve at the back right of the manifold? This hose that connects to the intake doesn't seem to go to 'the PCV at the back right. Am i missing something
