My 1995 Lexus LS400 started leaking coolant from underneath. Looks like it’s leaking from somewhere on my transmission or around it. Any idea of what may be going on or will this be and expensive fix

A small coolant leak will often evaporate as it drips over hot engine parts. The closest coolant path to the trans is the heater valve / heater core are at the firewall. Look at the hoses between the engine and firewall and you'll probably find the source of the problem.

Wrap paper towel around valve to determine if leaking (coolant will leave red stain)
