Looks fantastic, Steve, thank you for sharing! I have to say I can really appreciate the look of that front without the license plate. It is not something I see often this way (since we also have front plates).

Wheels are quite sharp too. This is an area where Lexus had been hit-or-miss historically (with arguably more "miss" than "hit" on some vehicles), and it is great that they got the memo the last several years.

Enjoy!

Thanks! I’m going to try and keep it off and see how that goes.

Steve

Do you have the rear seat upgrade? I can see it is not the executive.

That is exactly what I put on my interior and it looked practically brand new after 10 years of ownership.

Hi Steve, car looks awesome! Best wishes for many miles and years of happy driving!

1) I love the seven split-spoke wheels. Better than the 15-spoke propellers on my car, but the 5 split-spokes in your previous car were the best IMO.

2) I really like how you can get the map to expand to the full Nav screen. Was that the case in your 2015 also? Not possible in my 2014.

3) What are the little devices you have installed above the rear view mirror? Those are not OEM, at least not the one on the left.

No rear seat upgrade, has the rear sunshade but that’s the only gizmo in the interior. Oddly enough no heated rear seats which my 2015 had despite having much fewer options.

Thanks! I actually never cared for the split 5 spokes on my 2015. I love these, I prefer them to the other 19s also, those 19s you have are all we get up here. No the full screen nav came out in 2016. That’s my EZPass toll tag to the left, and the transponder that gets me into my garage at work on the right.

I use a Sony DSC-R1. Old school but still good. Those pics are nice. I think it's the Camera that's making the car look good. Could be that the car looks good anyway. LOL

Yeah that camera takes pretty good pictures. We don't use it as much as we should because its a pain to carry it around on vacation and all when we take pictures with our iPhones.

How much better is the leather upgrade?

Its way better. Thats the biggest thing I always regretted not having on my 2015, the leather quality is far superior in this, and you get the suede headliner too, and the leather airbag cover and leather wrapped control areas on the steering wheel too. Well worth the paltry $500 it cost...

I see that car came from Lexus of Birmingham.
Was that car one of theirs that had hail damage?
They had a storm that produced hail and they did the paintless dent removal on a great deal of inventory.
i bought a LX (2017) from them but it was not involved in the “ hail claim”.
