That ridiculous piece of plastic hanging on the front of the gX, isn't only ugly, its worthless. Can't wait to break it so I can replace it with something worthy. That one from ARB looks pretty nice.

You may want to reach out to Mule Expedition Outfitters as well.

They have the ARB on a '10-'13

Might be someone they have worked with who hasn't posted about it online with your mentioned unit on a '14+... or possibly additional fitment info.

I did the see that white mule built one and I will reach out to them to see if they have done a 14+. supposedly main line overland has performed this before. I'm waiting on their response and an estimate but I know they're super busy.

Im not a fan of the full face arb bars. Especially trying to keep this truck low key. I know a flashy Lexus with an arb isn't low key but again, I can't think of alternative for this bumper.

Man, don't really dig the fit and finish of that thing (the 2 separate lines where the new bumper meets the tiny remaining part of the stock bumper and then the tiny remaining part of the stock bumper meets the fender looks like total garbage IMO) but that rig STILL looks incredible!!!

I am not a fan of the full face ARB bars on our particular vehicles. It seems like any ARB bar on any 10+ gx will have the same small piece of bumper left. It looks to be the same on the ARB sahara on the Prado 150 photo i posted above too. They cut the bumper and use something called welt on the cut edge of the bumper (the black trim).

Luckily the sahara bar isnt as garish as the full ARB bull bars are. Wish we had more options but looks like until these trucks starting dipping down into the sub $20k range, we're going to be limited on US made fabrications.

I like the look of TJM bullbar better than ARB even for other trucks too. There's a guy that trimmed his 14+ bumper.

The TJM explorer and arb sahara are almost identical, it's pretty hard to tell those two apart. The rest of the lineup, there are prettier bars than the arb but I trust their r&d.

So I thought I'd share an update for anyone interested.

I spoke with Main Line Overland and they seem pretty excited about doing this. They suggested the ARB Summit Sahara bar over the regular Sahara Bar which I am still researching the actual differences but they said it was primarily for aesthetics with the angles and lines of the GX. The gentleman I spoke with had also considered a 14 GX at one point and had done a lot of fitment research and while the bumper wont line up as perfect as it would on a Prado 150, it'll line up well enough and theyll do whatever they can to make it look as good as it performs.

The trouble is the Summit Sahara bar is so new for the Prado 150 that there isnt even a part number for it yet let alone any floating around the US. ARB routes all its Americas bound products through Jacksonville so they are either trying to snag one bound for South America or they will most likely place a container sized order and throw a few of these bars in there since they move a lot of ARB products.

Otherwise, it sounds like this would be one of the first, if not the first, mounting of an ARB on a 14+ Lexus stateside.

Any pics of your truck Nickk? I've been thinking about the FN wheels for mine and haven't seen any on the 2014+.

*EDIT*

Never mind. Just saw your posts in the "what did you do today" thread. Wowza! You didn't mess around on your suspension setup, did you? $5k!?!?! I didn't even spend that much on the 6" BDS lift I had on my '13 Taco.

Can't wait to see it when it's complete!

Haha, it was less than 5k with install. I've done less expensive suspension upgrades and have been happier with a little bit pricier setups. Considering the GX rides nice and its going to be going on long road trips, I decided it wasn't something to skimp on.

I am trying to picture very hard to see if my wife drove this to local supermarket to get a box of milk....... should she just parked outside as usual, or just simply drove through the check-out lane......
