Amybody know what the correct rating would be? I want to remove the cats and downstream o2 sensors and just put resistors in place of the o2 sensors so i dont have to deal with a constant CEL

anyone have a clue? Im emissions exempt here in WA and would like to get them outta there. One if the sensors is already bad so i figure now is the time
Just get one or two of the those O2 Sensor housing restrictor on fleebay, you can just keep your O2 sensors hooked up and plugged in but no CEL due to low exhaust volume through them. It's used to trick the sensor thinking the cats are still doing their job by only routing a small amount of exhaust through them.
its not a simple resistor. you need one of those o2 sims or use the thing pictured above as they work fine and are simple.
you can get one locally sometimes they are called spark plug non foulers (certain sizes also fit o2 sensors).
Most of the electronic O2 simulators out there work by outputing a varying voltage that mimics a lean condition. This tricks a stock ECU into thinking the rear O2s are there and reading exhaust gas that passed thru working cats. You couldn't use a resistor to do that since the voltage needs to vary between a set of parameters. It's been a long time since I messed with O2 sims, but if I remember right, with OBD2 Hondas the sensors output 0.2-0.5v to mimic a rear O2 and not trip a CEL.
I believe the voltages are the same for SC3/400s. I know things get a bit weirder when it comes to the newer Lexus cars. 2002+ IS/GS3/430s for example
