In my area lots of GX 470s and I see a lot of '14+ 460s. '10-'13s are noticeably less common.... although production numbers are less so to be expected.
EDIT: I shouldn't really say lots...but I see one or the other usually every other drive at least.
We had an RX as a rental for a bit. Did not like it at all. Did not seem to have the same quality as the GX? Certainly did not have the character.
Yes after test driving the GX, then jumping back into my GS, I can feel a noticeable difference. Huge difference. The GS felt like a wet noodle after the GX. I guess the trade off for less space efficiency is a much stronger and solid vehicle.
Maybe I like my GX so much because it matches the feeling of being at my cabin. :-)
"The Lexus GX 460 SUV coddles up to seven passengers with all the amenities of an Edwardian-era smoking room – opulent leather, ample comfort and fastidious craftsmanship. But in spite of all this luxury, the GX 460 off-roads like a main battle tank."
Its a money maker thanks to the right market forces currently and you are getting alot of SUV for not that more then a RX350. They are pushing 17% + sticker at this point. Why buy used when new is so close....
I bet the minute the next iteration comes up they reup the pricing back to near sticker
