Great work and nice save. You've got a great value on your hands as these are terrific road trip cars. I hope you fix that front bumper, while i get the Frankenstein temp fix, it sure does catch the eye. How much for a used bumper i wonder + paint?
Thanks. It's a very comfortable car. Not as floaty as my old LS400 which I like. I have a replacement hood and bumper, just need the warmer weather and time to paint them. I used the wrecked parts so I can get it inspected.
I pulled apart the passenger headlight and didn't find anything broken except the projector would swivel freely even with the motor attached. I took it apart and checked the motor which was fine and put it back together. I guess I got lucky because now the projector is locked in place. I'll only know if its working once I put it back together and drive it.

Can you post more pictures of the projector and the low high beam please I am going to be doing ccfl halo rings on my headlights and am curious to see what they look like out of the plastic.
Got the headlight back in. It appears to be working now. It did the leveling test after starting the car which it wasn't doing before. Having good luck with this car.
I got really lucky. It was serviced at the local dealer since new and it shows. It's out of the garage and to be honest it doesn't look bad, to me at least. I'll probably leave this way until late spring.
Thanks. I drove the car today and it's so quiet and rides really nice. It also has almost new Michelin tires which is another plus. I found a hood nearby that is the same color, hopefully I can get it.
It's really awesome to be able to fix stuff up on one's own....It's like taking someone else's junk, and turning it into treasure...bravo!
Just to illustrate, when my 4th gen Maxima's lower rad support dropped out from corrosion, body shop wanted $1700. Dealer would want even more. Some dudes working out of their parents' house fixed it for $130. haha these dudes would think nothing of replacing all my park assist sensors, they took the Maxima's front clip off. For someone who knows what they are doing, it's not the rocket science that the dealers and shops of the world make it out to be.
