Default The Subtle 2013 NGP GS350 F-Sport Build

Decided to make a post about some of the subtle mods I've done to my GS since I purchased it in December. All the mods have been done by myself, and I'm by no means a "car guy".

Stock

Switched Out All Stock Interiors to LED's

Switched Out To Logo Courtesy Lights

Installed Splash Guards

Installed Rear Roof Spoiler

Replica Lexon Front Lip

Chrome Blackout

I plan to install an Xpel PPF when it gets a little warmer, 35% window tint, paint my brake calipers, and do some minor paint correction as pollen season goes into full effect.

Chrome Blackout V3

So, after trying to plasti dip the chrome two times, I was disappointed with the results. I decided to just vinyl wrap gloss black myself. They're by no means perfect, but turned out a lot smoother than the plasti dip.

Painted Brake Calipers

Vinyl Wrapped Front Bumper

Smoky Lexus Emblem

F-Sport Trunk Badge

Reflective Emblem

Engine Cover Badge

Tinted Windows

Tinted Tail Lights

Interior Trim Wrap

Side Mirror & Roof Wrap

Wrapped Exhaust Opening

Looks great. Which roof spoiler did you go with? Have you thought about getting the red vinyl overlays for the amber turn signals? I got them and am really happy with the results.

Thanks! I had initially bought this bigger spoiler from SpoilerKing, but it was unpainted, then saw another member buy one for the same price and it was painted, so returned the first one and bought this subtler one.

I saw someone else buy that, and the reviews on amazon on it weren't good so I passed, I'm not really familiar with it though. What exactly does it do?

Hey! I like your build, I have the same color combo, NGP/Cab FTW!

I wanted to ask you...was it difficult to replace all of the interior lights with LEDs? Do you by chance have the link or specs of the replacements?

Where'd those splash guards come from? Black on NGP actually looks pretty nice.

Thanks! Super easy to do, the puddle lights were the worst part. I broke my passenger side mirror trying to take it off. Surprisingly enough, I used a lot more pressure on the driver side.

- It's for an IS, but it's more or less the same. The dome lights in the GS are already LED's so no need to replace those.

Thanks! I got them off of Amazon
Splash Guards Splash Guards
. I was kind of iffy about it at first, but black and gray compliment each other nicely, and wasn't going to spend $300+ for a painted one haha.

It just gives the lights a cleaner look. I'm not a fan of the amber portion. Here's a picture.

Oh, I see. Looks pretty good, is this vinyl that just lays over the amber part of the tail light, or would I have to open up the tail light and insert it in there or something?

It just lays right over it -- super easy install.

Splash guard fitment was OK, but not perfect by any means. They came in with the edges pretty sharp, so I filed it down a little bit to make it a bit smoother. There's a gap in between the actual car and the splash guards, but I can live with it.

Yes, the window spoiler came with double sided tape, very easy installation.

Finally got around to painting my front brake calipers, hoping to do the rears this weekend.

How did you change the LEDs on the footwell on driver and passenger side?

It's in the video I linked in the earlier post above. Installation is shown on an IS, but it's the same more or less.
