Bump Update!

This wheel and tires came from my RCF. For IS owners, you might have to go for 255 or 265 in the rears if you constantly carry passengers. 275 works with no passengers. Lol!

Would these fit a 3IS? 275 on the rear may be too aggressive, right?

I've tried it but the 275/55 is too big for 3IS. I checked carid.com and they recommend 265/30 but to be on the safe side 255/30 if you're frequently heavy loaded I think.

I don't know much about wheels but that basically rules out an IS owner purchasing these beauties right?

I would assume there's no way to make these "smaller" or that these wheels would fit on a smaller tire?

OEM wheel spec of 3IS is 18" and can upgrade to 19" but you need your appropriate 19" tires for your car. The rear tires I have are mostly for RC350 and RCF. The tire height or side wall of 265/30 is 3.12inches. 275/35 is 3.78in which is really taller when we tried it.

It's cool man. I also research and learn like you. 265/30 should fit the tire as long as it's 265 tire width/30 aspect ratio/19in rims. And it should also fit your IS as recommended by carid.com. It's skinnier than 275/35/19 for sure... So, you're going for all black? Lol! I hope you'll also paint your calipers... We can meet at a tire store, mount and test the 265/30 or 255/30 for the rears if they have it in stock. 255/35/19 fits the front of course. Carid.com starts with 225/35/19 in the front but with 255/35, it's like you don't have to lower your car too much to hide the wheel gap.

We can go for a ride too man... Can't wait to see your ride as well... I've always liked IS...

Thanks!

Rear 19" fitted with 265/30 on an IS250 F-Sport. Shocks hasn't been dampened yet to decrease height. Still selling tires. Wheels pending sale.
