I'm wondering whether I should tint the rear 5% even though it's pre tinted, I heard that the pre-tinted windows don;t really block out the heat is that true? I'm also debating whether I should keep the rims stock or plasti dip it black with gloss coat. What do you guys suggests?

As for the rims, I don't have a strong opinion. I like the stock rims so I wouldn't mess with them myself. If I did want a change with the rims, I would probably replace them as I would think cleaning them after the plasti dip would be tricky. Just my .02 cents worth (and there's probably change left over

Photo taken in front of Anaheim's ARTIC transportation center.
Silver Lining metallic not the sexiest color, but only color available that had desired options, IE triple LED, red interior, AWD, Blind spot monitor.
Previous 2003RX was blue silver so not too different. Our 2010 RX is dark gray.
All our cars are kept in garage, still they get so dirty fast.
Benefit of sliver is dirt not as noticeable and sun reflections from the body style stands out more than other colors.
Everything i hated about the 2003RX, the NX exceeds expectations.
Few things I dislike about the NX, the RX had--but if you want styling, space is compromised.
As i am retired now, I wanted a nimbler performing car.
I think my choice fully expresses life's compromises to be overall pleased.
