Hmmm...Am I missing something here? How come the whp seem kind of low to me? Stock ISF makes on average 350whp, with an exhaust 375whp, Headers 400whp give or take. I thought the tune alone would provide 20-50whp/torque more? Based on the chart? Now with the throttle body mod another 10whp? To a total of 420whp? I'll take that any day but just seems low or I'm definitely misunderstanding something...

We had identical results with Sikky and PPE headers, PPE's on our shop 2010 ISF, and Sikky on JDMV8's 2008 ISF. We used K&N drop in filter, and I believe JDMV8 used some JDM filter

Update 3/19:
So we are almost finished fitting the RCF throttlebody for testing next week. Here is what needs to be done to fit an RCF TB on and ISF intake manifold:
Crossing our fingers that this will make some power, or it will be an expensive little experiment
So we are almost finished fitting the RCF throttlebody for testing next week. Here is what needs to be done to fit an RCF TB on and ISF intake manifold:
- Machine new bolt holes into the RCF TB, it is wider than the ISF TB.
- The lower left hand corner of the RCF TB hits the aluminum coolant passage, so you need to grind the coolant passage a bit, and shave the plastic left side TB cover a bit.
- Port the intake manifold to match the RCF TB.

I appreciate the talk yesterday. Either I forgot to ask or I forgot the answer:
The SC kit I presume will be tuned for stock decat headers etc right? Let's say I were to simply do the SC, exhaust and decat.
I presume the numbers that end up beinh published will be based on a mostly stock vehicle and graduate upwards? If not: I'd be happy to explore this.

Just got one myself and was thinking the same thing.
I'm thinking the tube might have to be bigger. If stock tube is 79mm ie same size as TB (I think that's right) then the tube would be smaller and wouldn't line up as well.

When upgrading the TB, you have to do some minor porting work on the intake manifold inlet bore.

Exactly, we are using our existing titanium elbow which is 87mm ID, and using that in conjuction with a redesigned cold air box with 87mm MAF housing.
... and now that we got the intake opened up, we are upgrading the TB to the 83mm RCF TB with bored out manifold inlet.

wow thats awesome, I know a guy making close to 400 crank hp on a 4cyclinder all motor daily driven honda using this rcf throttle body modified to work with his car, if the same holds true for our car and this really makes some power I would definitely cop. Supercharging and Turbo is fun, but I was always a sucker for high powered tuned n/a motors.

Update 3/24:
So looks like we just spent $700+ on an RCF throttlebody so that you all don't have to! We did pic up a few horsepower, but its very minor difference:
Results (RR-Racing 87mm MAF Intake + 79mm TB vs 84mm RCF TB):
RR-Racing 87mm Tuned Intake with 79mm throttlebody vs 84mm RCF throttlebody.
