Default LS460L WeatherTech floor liners in LS430

In case anyone else is interested, here are photos of a set of 2007-2012 RWD LS460L WeatherTech floor liners in a 2006 LS430. The front set fits about 95% perfectly. The driver's side front fitment is more of a perfect match than the passenger front. Hooks lined up perfectly. The only drawback is a slight issue with snagging at the base of the liner when you move the front seats forward. Overall, I am very satisfied with the fronts and love how the liners protected the floor and along the edges in our previous Sienna.

The rears don't fit quite as well. I saw how others ordered the OEM Premium Carpet Floor Mats in the 460L size for their 430. I didn't want to go too short with the SWB version so I crossed my fingers and went with the 'L' rear floor liners. I initially felt it was a big mistake upon delivery and shot off an email to WeatherTech to see if I could exchange the rears. However, I spent more time arranging the rear set and I think with some slight trimming it may be better to keep the 460L size in the rears. Hope this helps others.

(I have not trimmed the rear mats yet in the photo below)

Do the regular ls430 mats not fit?

If I were to trim the rear LS460L mats they would end up still a few inches longer than the regular size...so, if I had the regulars I would probably wish they were a little longer. Here is a pic comparing my current OEM rear floor mat. I certainly would not need to trim the floor liners 5 inches, maybe just an inch or two and it would probably still expose the floor vents to be used. I want just a little more coverage than stock regulars.

Default Weathertec mats

Thanks FatherTo1,

I own a 06 LS 430 as well and noticed Weathertech doesn't manufacture digital mats for our cars anymore. Didn't want carpet since I have the real light colored interior and the Weathertech has good coverage.
Therefore, I will order the mats for the newer LS version and drop it right in.

Weathertech part number so I get the right ones?
Part Number: 44207-1-2 (non long wheel base)
Part Number: 44207-1-3 (long wheel base)

Glad the photos helped, ivang30.

tradosauru, I'm not sure if you're asking a question or not. Yes, you have the correct Weathertech part numbers for full sets of (4) digital floor liners. Based on my experience, if this is for an LS430 then order the short wheelbase. I am still debating whether or not to return my long wheelbase set. I may have to return all four mats for them to process the refund properly and re-order the short wheelbase. Or I trim the rears a little. Not sure what I want to do yet.

I was examining the LS460L WeatherTech rears some more and it would require more trimming and adjustment than I'm comfortable doing. I will just have to learn patience. Will be returning my 'L' set and already ordered a new set of short wheelbase versions (P/N 44207-1-2).

So the difference between the short and long wheel based version of these mats is the 2nd row floor mats are longer but the front mats are still the same size?

The reason I'm asking is that I'm just going to buy the front set and leave the OEM mats in the back.

Exactly, the fronts are identical, regardless of wheelbase length. If you just want the fronts you can get them separately (P/N 442071 without dashes).

Returned my previous 2007 LWB Weathertechs for regular 2007 SWB floor liners and placed them in the rear of our 2006 LS430. Posting pics to help anyone else that is interested. If you notice, the rear edge of the backseat floor liners tend to curve/bend about an inch away from the carpet. This has not really created any issues for those sitting in the back. However, I do plan to get some double-sided tape or those non-slip sheets you place beneath hallway rugs because the rear floor liners do tend to slide forward on the carpet.

Looks good. I'll be using adhesive type sand paper to keep it from sliding.
