Don't worry. It has self-healing paint. It probably helps some, but I would still be careful about washing the car. Stay away from automatic car washes. Those places just create swirls.
Black caviar is the best color. It is absolutely gorgeous! I got mine in nightfall mica. My wife loves it. I am not fan of dark colors but this color looks very nice, very deep and has a lot of spark.
My wife let me decide on what color to get. I definitely wanted the Caviar or the Obsidian because to see the floating roof on a lighter colored vehicle did not look all that great to me. Now between the 2 as someone else had mentioned, Caviar is a more luxurious color than the Obsidian. My wife has a GS350 in Obsidian and she loves it. My RX in Caviar had to grow on her before she started to like it.
Regarding swirl marks, they are unavoidable with either color. Regarding dust, to me...the Caviar tends to show less dust than the Obsidian.

Anyone have any recommendations on how to wash/maintain the color (Caviar)? Can I use automatic car washes or should I just hand wash every time? Also when/how often to wax it? I just bought the RX 350 in Caviar with Stratus Gray interior this past Saturday and it's already super dusty and dirty probably from my neighbors mowing their lawn yesterday and it was also pretty windy here in TX the past few days.

I wax my car often (once every month or two) and take it to a tunnel car wash that uses cloth brushes and not the hard plastic and it works just fine. Do not let them hand brush with the long handle brush that is sitting is a big bucket of water as it will have sand in the bottom.
I have been doing this to all of my Lexus, for years, and if you keep it waxed they will remain in showroom condition. I know others will not agree but this is my own experience and I do not have the time or will to hand wash my vehicles.
I live near the gulf coast so it's windy here most of the time.
I waxed mine the day after I got it and have it washed at my Lexus dealership often. It looks great. No swirls from the car wash like the Obsidian RX I had awhile back.
