Congrats on the positive outcome, eyecue!

Can you please post photos of the damage.

And any further insight on how you got them to cover same after initial refusal would be great too!

Sorry didn't take pics, or at least I can't find them! Basically had a hole the size of my thumb in the same location as the previously posted pics (driver side by the door).

I purchased a 2014 IS250 F-Sport CPO with 28k mile. Noticed the hole about 2 weeks after I purchased and took it back (it was not there when i purchased I have pics) but it was repaired previously. They initially refused to replace the seat but offered to repair it (2nd repair I'm assuming). Another two weeks go by and the hole came back (bad spot to repair). Called up my salesman and he said bring it back and they took pics and sent it to corporate. Went back yesterday for service and they said good news corporate approved the warranty repair.

I'm nearing lease-end and noticed the driver's seat wear pictured.

Should I leave alone or bring to my dealer. Should be covered under warranty, correct?

In all, would rather not make an issue and return car with same, as long as does not pose a lease return repair problem.

Thanks again!
Normal wear and tear. Not chargeable.

Worry not.

Anyone know if we must remove window tint prior to lease return?

I'd think it'd increase value.

I have 40's.

Thanks!

Haha Lexus saying its normal wear and tear?

How about you show the dealership this picture taken this month of a 1982 Toyota Century with its original leather seats? This is how quality leather is supposed to look after 30+ years.

It's still a worry for second owners. I'd rather have cloth seats than seats that looks like leather but doesn't last...

Surprised to see the wear. My Nuluxe seats are pristine after almost 3 years of ownership. As stated, size of person and method of ingress/egress might be contributing factors.

I would get it checked out as a warranty item and if they say it's normal wear and tear, it will be in writing in the service record for you to show them upon lease return if you're given any trouble.
