A little known fact that ignores every single asset on the planet except of course.....the ultra impossible to find Lexus ISF.

Just because this real example of an actual sales that took place in "reality," doesn't mean "ah heck no's muh car is worth way more, I mean I owe way more so it is obviously worth more!!" is incorrect.

OK kidding aside, but recently there have been a lot of 2012s very low miles hitting the $40k or less mark. I imagine that means $37k negotiated.

I might fly out to see a 2013 soon. Used car values as a whole are dropping for the first time since 2008 and are expected to drop 6% this year alone without normal depreciation.

I know this only applies to cars that are not the Lexus ISF, but still.
You know, one man's thinking isn't going to change the market value/prices of this car, sorry to say. You're going to frustrate yourself to death trying to find a car with in your specified year, mileage, and price. That 08 was priced just right IMO for a 8-9 yr old F.
But good luck with you '13 you're going to look at. Don't be surprised if they're not willing to negotiate :-)

And what's the difference between a 2008 and say a 2011? Besides the suspension and rear diff and such... Production numbers. 2011 saw something like 650+ US models. That's like super car production levels. Not saying it's a super car though. Typically supply and demand would have the cost of these things skyrocketed but Lexus screwed up by sticking the F on anything it could. It's kind of hard to have demand for something that no knows about or thinks it's something else like a rebadged Lexus with a higher price tag.

33 ISF's on AutoTrader, mostly 2012's, some 2013's.

Mostly with mid 20K to mid 40K miles. A few USB's, whites and Grays.

Not a bad time to buy.

Here are the # of Fs made...very few cars....

Just in comparison to the number of Civics and Camrys made/sold in ONE year.

Ya some really decent prices right now I have a few I'd take for $38,000 low miles 2011+

The economy has hit it's max and auto loans are maxed as well.

The recent ACTUAL SALES examples from on here have been at KBB (surprise surprise)

Love it. The ISF is indeed a relatively rare car.

Is there something that is wrong with this car? Just curious.

Some picks I sent to another member today:

2012 White on black in Phoenix, $40,599, much closer, I would go test drive that.

http://www.cargurus.com/Cars/invento...ting=134683954

2013 Nebula Gray Pearl but with white interior......higher price, worth to negotiation on if you dig it:

http://www.cargurus.com/Cars/invento...ting=142445246

2013 White on black......86 days on the market (they must love staring at it), a bit higher then what you want to spend, but maybe they are willing to cut you a deal.....worth a shot, CA car and it's a 2013.

http://www.cargurus.com/Cars/invento...ting=136163293

2012 Nebula Gray Pearl on black, Florida car, they are a bit higher. Aside from flying in and testing, I would tell them you can pay their asking price if it includes an enclosed trailer transport (which would cost you about 1300 to 1600)

Thanks for that! I have a PP sale in FL I'm checking out. Just need to get there.

I'm also looking at the RCF. Lots of cars in the low 50s. When they start crossing into 40s that'll be a hard see to not choose one over the ISF.

I listed my '08 higher than KBB for a couple of reasons; I'm including mods and most everything on Craigslist is at my price or higher for a similar car. You just need the right buyer for a special car who knows what it is.

Default Kelly Blue Book

Kelly Blue Book is listing my 2012 at $946.

more than I paid 1.5 years ago. Took me a year of looking, but it was worth the wait.
