It's very useful, and I have one in the IS and RCF too, but it will be a little in the way every time you want to access the sub-floor. Reason being the tie hook are in the way and you'd have to push them flush out of the way.

Great mods there NXOwner!

I still am not used to that US front grille. It's so pointy!

The grill and the flimsy mirrors are my only disappointments with the exterior of the NX. What does your grill on the Australian NX 300h look like? Is it the same as the one on the US F-sport? I think that grill is far better looking.

Well for starters we can get the F Sport grill on the hybrid. I don't think you can do that in the US.

As for the non-F Sport grill, it's much lower like the F Sport grill and doesn't look as much like a shark

The non-FSport US grill has grown on me. In fact, I believe it is more aerodynamic looking!

Your threads are very helpful. Thanks again.

I find the US grill very practical because of its height. The other ones are actually quite low that I'm afraid of scratching the front bumper.

Thanks TeaAholic1. I have certainly come to terms with the standard US grill, but I think your version looks better. And you are correct, the f-sport grill is not available on the hybrid over here. What is interesting with your grill is that it seems to be a mix between the standard and F-Sport, with the lower rocker panel height and fog lights of the F-Sport, as well as the flatter shape. I suppose the higher approach angle of our pointier US grill is useful in certain situations.

In Australia, do you know if modifications is required to fit the F Sport grille onto a non-F Sport grille?

I am getting mixed inputs. One camp is saying the mounting points are different but another camp says it is a direct replacement (on the internet forum)

Are you asking if a F Sport grill would fit an international grill? I would image it would be easier than fitting it to a US grill!

Honestly, I don't know. I'm not surprised if they aren't interchangeable, but it doesn't make sense in production to make it difficult. It could be either way.

I love my F Sport hybrid. It looks so mean on the outside but it's nice and quiet on the inside

DarthNX's Australian-cousin sun bathing under the Australian sun after a wash (yes, the bonnet is still very dirty).

What are all those rivets along the front edge of your hood (aka, "bonnet")?
