alright this is only my 1st or 2nd time posting here ever, but I'll try to get straight to the point.
-01 GS300
-front end damage
trying to figure out which parts are bolt-on to the frame (such as core support and bumper reinforcement bar), and where the actual frame starts.
I am trying to see how badly the actual solid frame of the car is bent.
so far most of the bends I've found seem to be the bumper reinforcement bar, the 2 parts that that bar attaches to (name?), and the core support.
does anyone have a diagram of all of these connections? does the core support bolt directly onto the frame? can't exactly tell as I haven't removed the side panels yet and I'm still new-ish to the GS.
will post more pictures if requested but here's a basic front picture with the headlights and bumper removed.
I need to know if it's fixable without welding anything. sad face
IIRC, about $250. But thats California here everything is double LoL
no way Nathaniel, a good frame pull from a shop will cost you a lot more $ than that.
also, OP junk her, you can find another GS for less than what your about to put in her IF she needs the frame straightened EVEN if you use junkyard parts for the other parts
what part of Tn you in OP?
lol if you say so... when they did my Nissan 240sx it was close to $2k for it with not much more damage than he has, which is why they ended up totalling it and that car wasnt old (it was way before the 240 was a cool drift car)
Looks like a lot of work for a GS3. Why not take what you're going to spend on repairs and find a low(er) mileage GS4? You might have to do some searching, but I bet you could find one in the $5-6 range. If mine had that much damage that's what I would do.

to all: I spent $4000 on the gs3 but I do not have enough to get a decent replacement car. could incrementally fix but that's about it.
