That is a great deal.
As a side note, I bought my wife's 1st GS 300 in 2003. Brand new, loaded (not many options were offered other than Nav and Mark Levinson) and paid ~$42 000 (and I thought I got a pretty good deal knocking ~$4k off the MRSP).
13+ years latter, you paid almost the same for a brand new car. Factoring in a much better car, tons of new technology, and inflation, I think you got a steal. I still do not understand why the GS is not more popular than it is.
