You sure you got the real 3M Crystalline?

Even for my LX570 which has the largest glass surface area with 3m Crystalline all around does not heat up inside that hot in SoCal sun.

yes, i'm sure. the installer left the 3m marks on portions of the window, let me see the packaging from which it came and gave me the warranty card.

it works to a certain extent, but if the car is parked for hours in the sun when it's 90-something degrees out, crystalline isn't going to cut it alone.

Crystalline is effective but its not going to keep your car cool forever lol. I have used it in the past and though expensive only ever found it useful for the front windshield when its paired with a sunshade. If the suns out glaring and your directly under it, eventually its going to get hot inside.

Lifetime warranty and made in the USA if that's important to anyone

If you like the type that folds up and stores easily.

Go with Covercraft if you want something that is high quality and will last as well as look much more elegant for such a nice car. Here's a pic of mine and I love it!

They also have a roll up one but looks kinda cheap and flimsy....

If you have any suggestions let me know!!

Thanks
I highly recommend covercraft. I have radar detector too but it mounted just under rear view mirror so you wont have any problem with the sunshade. Mine IS is not a RC but they have many things in common.

I use Eclipse SunShade in my RC 350 F-Sport. About $50 bucks. It's custom fit for the car, retractable, and doesn't impede view when not in use. Also, easily detached when not in use (i.e., Winter). Exterior is very reflective and it keeps the car notably cooler! I
