Disassembly is easy look up the thread on installing LED lights in the puddle lamps on the mirrors. I did that

Yeah they are, factory 13-16 mirrors.

Not sure if you can just buy that part...might have to buy the whole mirror assembly.

While you're at it, the GS and LS have a gloss black trim around the mirror glass, the ES, IS and RC use a plain plastic piece, that would make a nice upgrade too.

Did some digging. Unfortunately looks like you need the whole mirror housing, that one lower chrome part is part of the overall housing.

Here's a link: http://www.mylparts.com/parts/2014/L...iagram=8933445

Here's the diagram:

What you need is part #2, which is the housing (also includes that gloss black trim. Looks like $89 a side and it comes painted. What color is your ES?

I would think you should be able to use the glass, actuator, puddle lamp, signal lamp, etc that you have, not 100% sure though.

I understand. The mirror housing is one piece, most of it is painted, that portion below the signal light is chrome on the LS, black gloss painted on the GS, and matte black plastic on the ES, but its all one part. In order to have that lower area be chrome, he has to replace the entire mirror cover assembly with one from an LS. Including the painted part.

Look at the diagram, it clearly shows its all one peice.

Perhaps you can see better in this picture:

This is the GS mirror. Same mirror, that lower area is just gloss black:

This is the ES mirror, same mirror, just unpainted black plastic:

I gotta agree, for somebody looking for help you are pretty rude. By the way you're welcome for me doing that research for you. The "someone" who can find a solution on eBay is going to have to be you lol.

Don't expect help, ask for it and be appreciative of it when you get it and you'll get a lot more out of the forum. You need to put a little effort in too. All I did to find that info is Google "Lexus parts" and select a site with a drill down, look up parts for an LS and find the mirror assembly.
