Bought a nicely used IS300. 160k miles, but in well-maintained and mint condition. Only 5k bucks (canadian), or 3500 U.S.). It's lowered on coil-overs, has cold air intake, Aftermarket stereo with GPS/ hands-free/Bluetooth, etc. LED conversion, exhaust, and a few other tidbits. It's worthy to note that even after 15 years and so many miles, the car is still tight and all the interior parts are in beautiful shape....no wear and tear on the upholstery or panels... Testament to Lexus quality and how it bodes for your LS's down the road. AND because if there's no pics "it never happened", here a few exterior pics:
For $3,500 USD it looks like a great daily beater... and those engines can last another 100K past the current mileage... but I doubt anyone would trade a 2012 LS on it
This acquisition is my son's "new" car. We are now a complete Lexus family. An LS, a CT200 and now this.
Turns out the car is not completely without an issue or two. AC doesn't seem to be working and there's an SES code for the catalytic converter. We no longer have emissions testing, so no big deal for now. But the AC is kind of a bummer.
You try the freon recharge kits? I see those TV commercials a lot and they're cheap enough that it might be worth trying, even if it's something else (like the compressor).

Yes...that's my first step. I have a kit already, but it appears to have a different fitting than the one on the car.
