anyway, was doing some light yard work at my rental house, mom wanted some decor rocks in the yard so we stop by the local nursery and gotten 2 bags, the carry out guys were helpful and loaded it on my little Lowes utility trailer, he asked what load cap on the trailer can handle i said around 2000lbs no problem... i asked him how much a bag of rock weights he said 500 lbs, so i said go ahead load 2 bags on and DAMN the whole trailer drop like its riding on Royal Flush style!!

so i thought hell why not its only 1000 lbs and only a 20miles commute back to the rental place shouldn't be much but the moment i took off from the parking lot i could feel the h struggle to handle the weight, pretty much a light tap on the accelerator the engine has to kicks in

my car is a 2010 RX450h FWD without tow package with 100k on the clock.

got home done with the yard work and then i still don't believe its a 500 lbs bag because the whole damn bag wouldn't budge one bit.

did some quick googling found out 1 bag = 1 ton!!! (2000lbs)!!! and there were 2 bags, with the "extra" rock the loader load and the weight of my trailer pretty much i waay over exceed the towing cap on my car.

the car handle really really well with the weight, no problem going on the hwy 60mph and stopping as well.

just wanted to share my experiences, but would i do it again? pretty much no..
