Can't see much detail but the shape reminds me of the hearse, aka Chevy Tahoe.

It will be interesting to see if they can make a significant dent on GM's stranglehold of the big SUV market. From my past experiences having driven both Ford and GM(I've driven all of them Navigator, Expidition, Tahoe, Denali, Escalade in short and long wheelbases), the Ford was the VASTLY superior vehicle in terms of space and comfort for the 2nd and 3rd row people, while the GM SUV's were much nicer to drive and had better front seats/ergonomics. The Fords, once they got some miles on them felt screwed together a lot tighter, fewer rattles, vibrations, the ride was so smooth.

If Ford could make their big trucks handle/drive as nice as the GM trucks, I would see absolutely no compelling reason to buy GM over the Ford. I also haven't been a fan of the new redesigned GM SUV's, they made the windows smaller, the a-pillar way too thick, the mirrors way too small, they're harder to see out of and they never did fix my big gripe, poor space utilization due to using a sold rear axle vs the independent rear suspension setup on the Ford.

Pretty much echoes my sentiments. The 3rd row is one of the best in class for rear leg room if I'm not mistaken especially in EL trim. GM has the better powertrains though, at least compared to the old Trident 5.4L V8. I have not sampled the latest 3.5L EcoBoost in the Expedition.

Agreed on that front as well, but I haven't driven an Ecoboost Expidition either. The 5.4 V8 was about on par with the standard 5.3 GM V8, but the bigger engine in the Escalade and Denali trims, those things straight up boogie(especially when you consider the weight) and Ford doesn't have anything that can touch them.

Yep. Yet another huge monstrosity that a soccer mom with two children will just HAVE to have and will park in a compact space. And her husband will slap on a loud exhaust and borrow it on weekends to make up for his feared loss of manliness..
