Default black door handles on 3IS?

I bought some chrome door handles a while back for my is200t. Thankfully I came to my senses and realized that I just wasn't into the chrome

Anyways, i'm kind of considering plastidipping the handles either matte black or gloss black and then installing it. does anyone have pics of black handles with NGP? I've seen how they look on the crafted line, but they're all on white paint. i've seen opinions on the topic ranging from 'it looks good' to 'it looks like base model'. what do you guys think?

I think it makes the car look cheap. If you insist on blacking those out, definitely not plasti dip. I would have them professionally painted gloss black.

Lexus came out with the limited edition Crafted Line in 2015. It's not something I would do as I prefer color coordinated handles but it will give you an idea for you to decide.

If you go black on the handles, you will have to go black everywhere else or else you have too much mish mash of textures and colors. chrome trim around window, mirrors, grill, emblems, lug nuts, wheels. doesnt flow well in my opinion. I'd just leave it premium factory stock =)

+1 -- your car will look like a honda civic dx circa 1995.

This ^

I am not a fan of black door handles but if you decide to do it, have them painted or wrapped

Off topic, but are the craft line mainly just a two-tone exterior/interior upgrade?

I've seen the CT craft line model, it was atomic silver with black ascents. Inside was a two tone black/red. However, it doesn't come with a Nav system ~ MSRP 39K.

Curious of how to IS craft line was packaged...

This. Back in the 90's the lower models of most cars had unpainted (black) door handles, mirrors, and side/body molding. Only the top of the line models, in the case of Hondas the EX models, had color matched body parts. I never understood the appeal of Lexus' Crafted Line. Seems a like a step backwards to me.
