That's more than I would have expected...

Here's one of the better video reviews of the Continental I've seen so far. It shows the interior close up in good detail. The music is a little loud, though....so you might want to turn your speakers down. And they do some Christmas music, too.

The interior of this car (and much of the exterior, too), at least on the surface, looks just gorgeous, though I'll wait for my own review to see what kind of materials they actually used. But, on the surface at least, it blows away the CT6.

Good video. Interior does look good. In person it looks good but the car was locked so I did not get to sit in it.

From the video, it is bizarre that the doors have the S class soft close but the trunk slams shut.

i'm not impressed. hard to see how this is any better than a buick lacrosse except for even more bling on the outside of the continental.

Tonight we driving by the Lincoln dealer and my other wanted to check out the black Continental. It appears it was sold but they had a nice white model.

Sadly, there were some serious quality concerns on some of the panels. They appeared to not fit. This was unfortunate for a $78K CAN vehicle.

Here are some photos:

Better? Well, for one thing, right off the bat, the new Continental (and MKZ) doesn't have the new (2017) Lacrosse's joy-stick E-shifter. I didn't like the joysticks in BMWs, I didn't like the one in the Cadilllac XT5 (the CT6 uses a more conventional-type shifter), and I probably won't like the one in the new LaCrosse, which will almost certainly be the same joystick as in the XT5.

Not surprised - probably gets put together by the same inept workers as the Mustang.
Not sure who in their right mind would buy this except for limo fleets.

Those are just awful, the worst seams I've seen in any luxury vehicle. Where was this assembled?

Built in Flat Rock. Yes, the panels not aligning correctly were awful. At first it was just the hood, but the trunk was off as well.

Guys the bottom line is, anybody that's paying $70k+ for one of these is an absolute idiot.

I think that is a bit uncalled for. What you drive and do with your money is your business....Its not right to call you an idiot for the choices you make. Heck, you haven't even seen it or test driven it...Does that make you an idiot? I don't believe so.

Well, yes, you can start with limo fleets. But you can probably also add a LOT of seniors and/or former Town Car owners who never warmed up to the MKS. This car, at least what limited view I've had of it, is what the MKS should have been and wasn't.

So seniors and limo fleets. There's a demographic that's sustainable for Lincoln lol

it will also make a nice hearse, don't forget about that!

Was this the one you inspected at the local dealership there in Toronto? I'm not doubting your word........I know you know how to visually inspect a car. But to have a pre-production model like that, on the auto-show circuit, is one thing......an actual production model at a dealership is something else.
