+2. Had the previous generation and took a look at the 2007 Camry when it arrived (as well as had two Camry Hybrids as rentals).

The trunk lid was made out of steel (vs. aluminium on the previous gen) too. Weight went up. In Canada, the base LE weighed as much as our XLE 4 cylinder. All trims went up about 90kg for 2007.

blech. I think that's the worst looking one. 95-96 Camry along with the 4th gen look best imo. current one before predator grill refresh looks good too.

More current model Camry overseas versions.

I came across some current model Russian Camries some time ago; they looked terrible.
Still a Camry...

^^^ I didn't have an issue with the current Camry prior to refresh, and am fine with it after, but the license plate on the one you just posted has to crack me up a bit...

Well, we have a 2015 Camry in our family. Typically used as "another car" for errands, leaving it at the airport, etc. Good car, BUT it is loud on the road. Horrible road noise. Hope they make it quieter next time around!

What trim is it??? I agree that Toyota did skimp on the sound insulation with this gen Camry, its really noticeable if you have an SE with the 18" low profile tires. But compared to some other cars like vans, some lower line pickup trucks, Jeep Wranglers, some Honda products(Civics, Fit, Element, older Accords), its pretty quiet.

I agree.
Current gen Camry inspired by new president Akio Toyoda has more inspired styling and dynamics, but comfort and refinement has been lost; same with Lexus 4GS too.

It is just a "plain jane" 2015 LE model with Michelin tires. I have to say that back in 1997 I bought a new Camry. Fully loaded for the time, and it was much nicer inside! However, this Camry has given me every indication that it will last for years as a third car in our family.

comparing a camry to a jeep wrangler? i bet compared to a 747 the camry is quiet too.

as for pickup trucks, drive even a basic new or recent f-150 and i think you'll be very surprised how comfortable and quiet they are these days.

Is this for real?
Very radical, but nice...
