Ready for my second European Cannonball SC430.
Well, round 2 is happening at the weekend. My SC430 survived well since the last Cannonball event and a charity trackday (with three "offs" due to driver error) in the meantime.
I destroyed the crappy Megan engine mounts, needed all the bearings changed on the front of the engine, all idlers and and alternator reached end of life, I bashed the power steering pump off the chassis rail when I ripped the engine mounts, leaving me with heavy steering (now fixed again), and she eats YellowStuff pads, but they work, they work really really well. Car is fantastic now with 112,000 iles on her. Back to OEM engine mounts now.
Wheels are still the staggered Rota GTR-D's, which got a refurb' in shadow chrome powdercoat, and I got a straight through exhaust direct from the left bank /right bank cats, No droning, no fault codes, and makes the noise we all love, so long as you don't have to spend more than two hours in the car in one day, hence the earplugs for longer journeys.
Wish me luck. It's on this Friday.

Finished event with no serious issues. Thanks for the wishes.
Didn't crack the windscreen either, and I weigh 224 pounds, but did mangle a wiper blade with my shoe with my on tour antics.

EBC Yellowstuff pads failed on the rear, one inner pad on the left hand rear partially debonded and started making noise, which is plain unlucky as I've had nothing but a great experience with this pads for years, so we had a 2 hour break, which turned into a 2 hour pitstop when good friends met me with a full set of front and rear EBC Yellowstuff, just to be safe.
