Default Power Steering Pump/Rack and Pinion replacement where do the orings go?

Return side hose for rack
Slides over return hose end as washers
Return side bolt side view
Return side bolt end view
Pump hose
Pump high side bolt. Rack high side bolt looks look similar
So I replaced the power steering pump and the rack and pinion and both came with orings but it's not obvious where they go.

How many miles on the car? haven't seen too many posts on replacing racks or pumps on these.

RKW may have a diagram for you if you ask nicely.

Most likely, the 2 O-rings are those shown circled in red below. If not, I've attached the diagrams for the rack-and-pinion for your reference.

RKW thanks for the diagrams. Concerning the rack I think I put the gaskets on the wrong hoses. The new rack came in with Orange and red caps and I thought that red was high. Do you see the end of the bolt I lane return? I have that on the high side according to the diagram. If that a filter? The diagram has the same piece number for both high and return. I am definitely missing the oring on the pump high side. Looks like no oring for the return. Drawing says the gaskets are none reusable part? What do you guys think?

The first post I've seen since joining the forum on a bad steering rack. Good luck.

This is the correct drawing for my LS430. There are no o-rings on any of the fittings. I am getting new gaskets from the dealer to make sure I get a good seal. I am really beginning to wonder if the Air Control Valve Assembly was my problem all along. Hate spending $500 on new parts that I didn't need but I cant really worry about that now. Plus if I went to a shop or dealer they might have replaced all these parts and I would have been out another 500-600 for the labor. What is your guys opinion of the best fix for the Air Control Valve without actually replacing the valve. (over $120)

So finally got it back together with no leaks. Steering wheel was off a little so I disconnected linkage and adjusted. Now the SRS light came on. Everything else seems fine.
