OK, let me check later to see if these are the same or not.
PS - I have a feeling the inner/trunk harness is different, because the backup lights are LEDs on the 16s vs. traditional bulbs on the 13 - 15.

The backup lights are not LED on a 2016. I just did an LED swap for the backup lights.

Does anyone have any pics or links to a 13 with 16 tail lights installed? Wondering if its a straight swap and how they look with the different chrome trunk molding.

Not yet. Best way I guess is, have someone with a 16 car meet up with someone with a 13 - 15 car. Do a direct swap on the spot to test and see........
