Man, I hope not. A dash that looks like the Avalon and Sienna is not a good thing. The Avalon's dash is a huge, upright, block, staring at the driver. And a minivan dash has little to no place in a modern sedan. Both would look truckish in a Camry.

Well its certainly inspired by it. Actually looks pretty nice. I feel like the car has grown in size, to Avalon proportions and with the dash, so at first I thought it was an Avalon

The Avalon dashboard does offer an integrated, wholeness look that the current Camry's does not. The current Camry's dashboard has a terrible, black, hard-plastic centre stack that looks like an afterthought, IMO. It makes the Camry look and feel terribly cheap.

Finally no slab-sided sheet metal but curves and chiseled lines! It has potential!

I hate Hyundai for starting this trend. I didn't think the other manufacturers would be stupid enough to copy them, but here it is.

The dash of the current Camry is not terrible. It's just dated. Thats the issue.

Maxima from 2 generations ago (2004+) had Quad exhausts as well. Technically not the same class, but has always been very similar in size.

Also, this doesn't bother me at all. It's all style. I believe certain VW Golf's have quad exhaust too.

Will be interesting to see what this looks like. Hopefully it won't look like the Prius

I've never understood why manufacturers go back and forth with LEDs (think Camry and Accord). They've gone between LED and halogen a handful of times.

* incandescent

I really think it's one of those easy cost cutting decisions to make. If something else on the car ends up pushing the car over the target cost that's probably an easy way to find some relief.
